DLA 100

Passive DSL Line Simulator/Attenuator

The compact DLA simulates the cable characteristics from DC up to 1.1 MHz.

It is the smallest ADSL/SDSL Line Simulator/Attenuator in the world that can be set in steps of 200 meter.  It is cost effective, accurate and very popular among software developers.

About the DLA 100

The DLA 100 single gauge Line Simulator/Attenuator simulates a single twisted-pair cable. It reproduces the characteristic of a twisted PE 0,4mm telephone cable for testing DSL access products with a GO/ NO-GO approach.

The unit can be utilized as a universal production test device for any modem/chipset that operates with CAP, 2B1Q, HDB3, AMI, DMT, QAM, FSK or any other Coding technique.

These modulation schemes are used for different types of DSL flavors like HDSL, SHDSL, ADSL, ADSL2, … and the classic generation of data modems and modem converters like HDB3 E1, AMI T1, BRA ISDN 2B1Q, 4B3T.

The user can select the length of the simulated loop by switching the respective rotary switches situated at the front.

The DLA 100 is also used for multi-pair testing and for desktop interoperability testing.
